Characteristics

Breathable barrier for damp, Porous & untreated masonry :
Controls damp on interior and exterior surfaces while letting them breathe due to its water-vapour permeability. On exteriors it blocks water penetration, on interiors it acts as a water barrier while letting the substrate breathe. Ideal for cellars and basements. Using a brush or trowel, it can be applied to damp and raw masonry substrates.
The typical recommended application thickness is 1.5mm.

Warning - Please carefully follow usage instructions and refer to the technical data sheet.

Supports

Any raw masonry substrates, either dry, damp or wet but not dripping, or running :
- Cement, concrete, breeze blocks, bricks, stone.

Precaution for use

Avoid contact with bituminous or rubbery materials.

Dangerous. Follow the safety precautions and refer to the current technical data sheet.

Implementation

1

Stripping damaged surfaces right down to the masonry

2

Check the humidity level in the area and around it

3

Prepare the filler to a consistency for either coating (0.5 parts water to 2.5 parts powder) or brushing (0.5 parts water to 2 parts powder).
Leave to stand for 15 minutes and mix again before application.

4

To fill:
For spot filling, up to 1 cm thick, use a painter's knife.

5

To render:
Apply the rendering with a smoothing trowel in one or two coats until any unevenness is evened out.
Consumption:
At rendering consistency (thinned to 22%): 1.5 kg/m²/mm thickness
Allow 12 to 24 hours for repeat application.

6

Apply the rendering evenly with a wide brush in 2 criss-cross coats.
Consumption:
In whitewash consistency (diluted 27%): 1.4 kg/m²/mm thickness.

7

24 to 48 hours depending on thickness and application conditions.
